This is it!
The final piece of the puzzle.
Now you have everything you need to grow your Substack:
the monthly Notes30 Challenge where you grow your subscribers,
the weekly Write2Sell column where you learn how to convert them to paid and keep them paying, and…
the monthly Writing Challenge where you apply the knowledge from the Write2Sell column in practice and grow your paid subscribers
Why a Writing Challenge?
If we look at the 5 elements you need to grow your Substack, this challenge covers the essential two of them:
content - where you deliver on your promise in your offer
relationship building - where you connect with your audience and keep them engaged
and if you’re into paywalling, it also covers:
selling - where you sell without selling, by using your content and the value it delivers
The Substack Monthly Writing Challenge - November 2024
What is it?
It’s a challenge for writing.
But not just writing.
It’s built to help you apply everything from the Write2Sell column in practice. Because learning how to do things is nothing if you don’t apply what you learn.
So, in this challenge, we’ll apply things in practice.
How?
Every month we’ll have a dedicated theme from the three elements:
Writing
Relationship building
Selling through value
As a reminder: last month’s theme was CONSISTENCY in writing.
NEW THIS MONTH:
PARTICIPANTS:
The challenge is now open to free subscribers! Anyone can:
join the challenge
share their post in the weekly thread
add themselves to the Accountability tracker
The supporting materials will continue to be paywalled. The WINNER AWARDS will also be for paid members only.
November THEME:
we’ll build on top of it with RELATIONSHIPS (see below)
we’ll add some ACCOUNTABILITY - we’ll have a tracker (see below)
WINNERS AWARDS:
The most active among the paid members will be entitled to join me in a spotlight session to talk about their Substack. To give you and your Substack more exposure, I will share this session:
all subscribers
in the CREATIVETECH social media accounts
Rules:
I’ll do these sessions monthly after the Challenge finishes.
I’ll invite one of the most active participants in the Challenge based on the Accountability Tracker. Rules:
1. must be in the Accountability tracker
2. must have completed the challenge (at least one post every week)
We’ll do the session only if you’re willing to. If not, I’ll invite the next most active member until I get a “yes”. Priority of inviting:
1. most active among the VIP members
2. most active among the annual paid members
3. most active among the monthly paid members
Announcement of the winners: start of December Challenge (1 December 2024)
When do we do the session: during next month upon your availability
How do we do the session: over Zoom. I ask you questions (we initially agree on the list), you talk :). You can prepare slides if you want to (not a must).
November’s Theme: CONSISTENCY + RELATIONSHIPS
